This formative research explores knowledge, access and use of fertility and Family Planning (FP) services among married men and women using qualitative methods and looks into how different factors affect the use of FP.

 Project Objectives:

  • To explore knowledge on family planning and fertility
  • To assess manner in which fertility awareness and family planning information is received and diffused in the communities and among couples
  • To understand the access to and use of family planning services in the communities and explore how cultural, religious and gender norms affect motivation and ability to use family planning services
