Mr. Nayak is a public health professional with over nine years of experience at sub-national and local levels. His technical expertise extends to numerous areas in public health including maternal, newborn and child health, adolescent and reproductive, ENA/EHA & SBCC, good nutrition, development of provincial and local level health policies, acts, strategies and guidelines and health systems strengthening and quality health service delivery in different landscape of Nepal.
He is Currently working in HERD International UKaid funded Nepal Health Sector Support Programme (NHSSP) as Health System Strengthening Officer based in Janakpurdham sub metropolitan city Province-2, Janakpurdham.

- Health for Life Health (Health Systems Strengthening) Project: Implemented RTI international and funded by USAID :- Role:- Health Governance and reconstruction related technical assistance to Municipalities and District, Development of provincial and local level health policies, acts, strategies and guidelines, annual planning and budgeting, Health profile, Fact sheets, Annual calendar of Operation, district communications plans and build their capacity to monitor their expenditure through Transactional Accounting and Budget Control System (TABUCS), forms/reforms District/Municipal level structures including Health Facility Operation and Management Committee (HFOMC), Reproductive Health Coordination Committee (RHCC), District/Municipality Quality Assurance Working Committee (MQAWC) and provides necessary technical assistance and support for improving functionality and performance of these structures. and worked as a resource person to development District Health Recovery and Reconstruction plan (DHRRP) and Health Contingency plan.
- Save the children international :- Funded by UKaid/DFID :- Role :- CB-IMNCI and MNCH rapid assessment at District hospital, HFs, provide technical input on need based activities on CB-IMNCI and MNCH focusing on newborn care and birth preparedness package (BPP) at health facility, Build capacity of district and health facility staff on improving recording, reporting, analysis and use of e-HMIS, e-LMIS and Identify performance gaps and provide support to improve quality save delivery services.
- Helen Keller International (HKI):- Role:- Collaborate with district line agencies and strengthen networking at the district level to integrate the nutrition, health, WASH (water sanitation and Health) and agriculture components of the program, Development training plan and implement.
