Dr. Lal Mani is a development professional having more than 20 years of experience in health and Dr. Lal Mani is a development professional having more than 20 years of experience in the health and development sector, particularly contributing in program management aspects including project identification, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the projects at a national and subnational level under various national and international development partner agencies including UN. He holds a PhD in Medical Sociology and has expertise in research, aspects of ethnomedical health care practices, and most recently developed expertise in the areas of health system strengthening and health policy, intervention implementation and programme research. He has a strong background in program and intervention management and coordination skills and strong networking with (sub)national stakeholders in Nepal, which will be instrumental for promoting the research and programme management to establish a resilient health system. Dr. Adhikari has the key competencies and expertise in rapid project implementation in the field of the communicable disease control programs (Tuberculosis and HIV) and relevant researches; strategic leadership for programme management, operational research; guidelines and protocol development, project proposal development; result based M and E; and stakeholder management.
