Knowledge Café: Capacity building session on writing policy brief

The 5th Episode of Knowledge café was held at HERD International on 6 August, 2021. The session was held to learn and share on ‘’Capacity building session on writing policy brief’’ as part of co-creation of knowledge. The session covered multiple aspects on writing policy brief, this session had topics covered such as formatting policy brief, structure of the brief, The Knowledge café sessions are coordinated by the Research Uptake and Communication(RUC) unit of the organization. The goal of this session was to provide an opportunity for colleagues to discover, share and takeaway new ideas on writing policy brief. Mr. Shreeman Sharma, Research Uptake Manager at HERD International, facilitated this session to speak quite briefly to the proposed topic, winding up with some open questions which the participants later discussed. Approximately, 16 participants attended this session some physically and some virtually considering following the social distancing measure.
