Personal bio
Graduate of B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Campus of Technology, Tribhuvan University, Dharan. Furthermore, he has completed his Master’s degree in Nutrition and dietetics from CAFODAT, Purbanchal University. After graduation he was engaged in NEPHEG in an IMAM program in which he got an opportunity of field exposure, coordination with local stakeholders and community people for uplifting the nutritional status of children and pregnant and lactating women. After this, he joined Nepal Public Health Foundation and was involved in various research related to nutrition. Altogether, he has 4 years of professional experience plus 3 months of internship in the field of nutrition and research. On top of that, he has gained sound knowledge of diet planning, clinical nutrition practices, nutritional surveys, statistical analysis, anthropometric measurements, nutritional assessment, monitoring and evaluation, report writing etc.
Currently, he is engaged as a Research Coordinator at Herd International.
